A very British (#ridiculous) way of giving and receiving

How have we developed a culture which has changed the idea of giving freely into a complicated exchange system?

Needs Understanding is all about practising deep individual freedom, with equally deep consideration for the others around us.

So if this way of giving seems as unfortunate to you as it does to me, I invite you to practise two things:

[easy] giving without expecting anything in return

[difficult] receiving without trying to give the person something in return
